SmartTruck

SmartTruck is a feature that has been requested by many of our customers, and here it is. We have created a powerful tool so users of any skill level can create a custom trailer to the required specs.

Configure your trailer to precise specifications.
Choose the length, width, rotation point, number of axles, axle positions, number of tires, radius of tires, type of bed, type of trailer ( box, tanker, dump, lowboy ) .
You can then animate “your“ trailer and animate the off-tracking, swing-out precisely.
 
You can do all the editing in a 3D view so you can see your trailer being built in a realtime preview, as you do it. You have the option to set transparency of the trailer body for diagraming purposes when it is required to show the trailer axles.

Adjustable pivot

Every Reconstructionist who has ever had to create an animation of a truck with a trailer will love the adjustable pivot on the SmartTruck component. For the first time in Vista FX3 the user has the ability to position the pivot (point) around which the trailer will rotate. The pivot can be placed anywhere on the trailer and it is especially useful animation purposes.
