EdgeFX is capable of importing aerial photographs or satellite imagery from Bing. In both cases, EdgeFX helps take the guesswork out of scaling the photo to practical sizes for use with the extensive object library (cars, trucks, etc). Automatic Image Scaling EdgeFX allows the user to import an aerial photograph and automatically scale the photo using a single known measurement on the scene. Simply tell EdgeFX the dimension of the object, and EdgeFX will automatically resize the photo. Using Bing (VirtualEarth) EdgeFX allows you to quickly search for a roadway or intersection. Once you select the location, EdgeFX will automatically import the photo and scale the image. Simply drop the objects onto the scene photo. Save Time Save time by overlaying hand or total station measurements onto the scaled photograph. This feature reduces time required at the scene as the user is not required to measure the roadway.
