is capable of importing aerial photographs or satellite imagery from
Microsoft VirtualEarth (Bing). In both cases, FX3 helps take the
guesswork out of scaling the photo to realistic sizes for use with the
extensive object library (cars, trucks etc). Automatic Image Scaling FX3
allows the user to import an aerial photograph and will automatically
scale the photo by allowing the user to input a single known
measurement on the scene. Simply tell FX3 the dimension of the object,
and FX3 will automatically resize the photo. Using
VirtualEarth (Bing), FX3 allows you to quickly search for a roadway or
intersection. Once you select the location, FX3 will automatically
import the photo and scale the image. Simply drop the objects onto the

time by overlaying hand or totalstation measurements onto the scaled
photograph. This feature greatly reduces the amount of time required at
the scene as the user is not required to measure or document the
