With the release of mFX 1.6, Visual Statement has rolled up the new features found within both 1.5 and 1.6 into a single release.

- Unlimited number of data points
- Support for most common total station models manufactured by Trimble, Sokkia, Topcon, Nikon & Leica

- Added support for saving scenes to custom flat file formats. The user can specify:
- Column separation format (delimited vs. fixed width)
- If delimited, what the delimiter character is
- Distance unit (feet/meters)
- Number of decimal places
- Added a "First Time Setup" wizard which allows users to choose angle and distance units when using mFX for the first time
- Options, point code libraries, custom file formats, and help information is now viewable/editable without having to open a scene.
- The list of existing scene files now includes creation date and file size, and the list can be sorted by name/date/size
- The user can edit the following parameters by tapping the corresponding item on the heads up display:
- Target settings (prism vs. no prism, and target height)
- Current feature code
- Active line
- When editing target height, the user can choose to re-use previous target heights
- Offset shots now supported:
- Horizontal angle offset
- Vertical angle offset
- Two line intersection
- Radial / Right / Vertical offset
- Added a "Check reference measurement" function in case the instrument is jostled or disturbed
- Improved workflow for setting/editing connections to hardware
- Improved workflow for moving the total station, including an "occupy existing point" routine
- Revised toolbar layout to maximize scene area
- Smart navigation (auto-zoom, auto-pan by dragging with the stylus, no need to switch to a different input mode)
- When hit testing results in multiple points (they are close together), a popup menu allows the user to choose the desired point
- Can remove points from lines without removing the point from the scene
- Can add points to the beginning/end/middle of existing lines
- Line names are included as point attributes in Vista export file. This allows users to create linework in vista using the line information created in mFX.
- Horiz/vert errors are included in the RAW file for all backsights to existing points
- Replaced the old "preinstalled" feature code libraries with new ones that are more complete:
- When a scene is open, the title bar displays the scene name
