How To: Image Masking in EdgeFX

Image Masking was introduced with Feature Pack 2 of EdgeFX.  It gives you the ability to remove objects like cars, shadows and pedestrians from aerial imagery (Bing/Google Satellite photographs and scaled images).

 

Start by selecting an image to mask and launching the editor (properties):

 

 

 

Now use the editor to mask your objects (the navigation/drawing tools work the same as the rest of EdgeFX):

 

 

Then you can use the drawing tools to fill in the gaps:
