EdgeFX includes a new line type that makes diagramming stairs a breeze. We're going to build some stairs with the poly-line (this line type also applies to the line and combiline tools).
The line we draw will map the stairs from the center. Be sure to use the keyboard shortcuts (z for elevation) to change the properties of the line while you draw.
Once the stairs have been drawn we are free to adjust their properties (ie: width, color, railing, etc). Select the stairs and use the properties panel on the left to make these changes.
Then view the finished product.
