The sign editor enables you to create a customized road sign. You can modify one of the existing signs or create a completely new version that is specific to the needs of your scene.
With the editor you can:
- Resize the sign
- Change it's base shape (ie: rectangle, octagon, triangle, etc)
- Set the background color and image
- Draw objects onto the sign surface (including text, lines and polygons)
- Save the custom sign as a template for future use.
To create a new sign simply drag the Custom Sign (or Speed Limit ??) object onto your diagram. This will launch the Sign Editor.

Alternately, you could select an existing sign and click Edit Sign Face (under Actions).

The Sign Editor is pretty straightforward (it uses familiar FX diagramming tools to customize your signs).

The Custom Speed Limit Sign simply requires that you define what the speed is.

Below you can see how we used the image tool to apply a photograph of a sign to an object in the editor.
