Tech Tip: Recon battery not charging

If your Recon battery is not charging try these simply steps:

1. Remove the PowerBoot Module from the Recon
2. Plug in the AC Adapter to charge the battery while it is not attached to the Recon (Charge it for at least 4 hours)
3. Reconnect the PowerBoot Module to the Recon

If the Recon handheld does not turn on the battery may be defective.  If it does turn on, then the battery power was most likely too low to power on the Recon and charging the battery while not installed will resolve the problem.
