TDS Nomad
The new TDS Nomad Pocket PC packs even more functionality into the most powerful and full-featured rugged handheld computer available. Start with an 806 MHz processor, a long-life battery and integrated wireless capabilities like GPS, 802.11g, and Bluetooth.
Then select an optional Nomad configuration that includes an integrated laser bar code scanner and color digital camera.
The Nomad also features a high-resolution, sunlight-visible VGA display that shows graphics and maps in crisp detail. And it's fully rugged and just as tough as our other handhelds which means the Nomad offers a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) than consumer-grade handhelds.

Ultra rugged
Like all TDS rugged handhelds, the Nomad meets the rigorous MIL-STD-810F military standard for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures. It also comes with an IP67 rating.
GPS Onboard
Always know where you are with the buillt-in GPS receiver on the Nomad. Pinpoint your position when taking measurements precisely.
Built-in Camera
2 Megapixel Digital Camera allows you to use the Nomad like a measurement device with photogrammetry software such as HawkEye. Or take snapshots and save them to the big Flash Drive.
Water Proof
The Nomad is completely sealed to keep running in the wettest situations. Testing has shown that you can submerge the Nomad one meter deep in water for 30 minutes.
High Performance Batteries
and a hot-swappable rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack to keep going strong all day. Recharging time is significantly reduced with the use of lithium-ion batteries.

Big Screen
The TDS Nomad features a full VGA (640x480) that is 4x the pixels/viewing area. Finally you can use a PDA without restrictions or feeling cramped.
Wireless communication
The Nomad has built-in Bluetooth and optional 802.11g wireless communication capabilities. With Bluetooth you can control your Total Stations wirelessly using our M-FX datacollector software.
Expansion
A CompactFlash (CF) Type II slot and a Secure Digital (SDIO) slot add to the versatility of your Nomad. Giving you the ability to use the TDS Nomad as porttable accelerometer using our AccelereX software and hardware.
Use memory cards to increase data storage for larger jobs or use other accessory cards for multiple applications.
Windows Mobile
The Nomad also includes the latest Windows Mobile 6 software, so it runs all the applications you use most, including a wide range of third-party software for industry-specific applications.
