The AccelereX combines advanced Micro Electro Mechanical System (MEMS) sensor technology with
Global Positioning System (GPS) to create a platform for testing vehicle braking, drag factor and acceleration performance.

It is an open system so you are not locked in a proprietary box. Data are displayed on the PDA in real time. Data can also be saved in text files and uploaded to desktop computers for further analysis using software such as Excel or Matlab. Furthermore, with Wi-Fi and Microsoft Pocket Office Suite, the PDA can be used for many other purposes to increase your productivity.

Handheld Performer™ Software

Accelerex measures & records longitude and latitude G, speed & distance, at a sampling rate of 100 Hz for accelerometer and 1 Hz for GPS receiver for accurate measurements.

Data is displayed in real time, in a intuitive and user friendly interface. Extensive help documentation is included to ensure easy operation. Data is saved on the PDA which can be further downloaded to a PC for further analysis.

Holux GPSlim236 Bluetooth Wireless GPS Receiver
High precision GPS Receiver with SiRF Star III Chipset, offers 20 parallel satellite-tracking channels. High Accuracy, 5 meters (15 feet) for position. 0.1 meter/sec (0.22 mph) for speed, makes it ideal for laptop and PDA navigation and data acquisition applications.

Bluetooth™ Wireless Technology connects the GPS to any Bluetooth enabled computer or PDA, for fast data transfers.

CF+ 3-Axis Accelerometer
Plugs right into the CompactFlash expansion slot of the PDA. The freescale (Motorola) 3-axis MEMS acceleration sensor offers software selectable ranges of 1.5/2/4/6g. With a high precision 12-bit (4096 levels) analog-to-digital converter the accelerometer has a 100 per second sampling rate. For constantly precise measurements the calibration data is stored in the card’s internal non-volatile memory.

Arkon's Shock absorbing 2-tier windshield PDA mount offering unparallel flexibility, with solid feel thanks to the short and solid arm setup. Adjustable tightening knobs and a swivel-head tightening nut allow you to position your PDA in any position you require.
