SmartRooms
SmartRooms is a popular must for Crime Scene Investigators and any professionals who benefits/needs to re-create accurate representations of interior scenes in minutes. Crime scenes can be recreated accurately with all the detail required by the investigator.
All scenes are automatically created as 3D scenes enabling the investigator to inspect the scene even after crime scene has been cleared and evidenece removed as well as verify statements and evidence.
Easy to Use
Intelligent Drag & Drop Components enable you to
create any building in minutes. External & Internal Walls, doors, windows snap into place on your SmartRooms Building and are easily edited using the properties dialog.
Complex Buildings
Create buildings with any footprint and Multi level buildings are no problem. SmartRooms has been designed to offer the maximum flexibility for building/diagramming buildings.
Add levels, staircases, balconies etc. you have no limits with what you can do in SmartRooms.
Interior Design
Once you have drawn the “plan” of your scene, then it’s time to do the interior design. You have the choice of textures and colors for your floors and walls.
Additional Objects can be added to your SmartRooms scene, such as victims, furniture, plants, guns, blood splatter... to get an absolutely accurate replica of the crime scene. There is the choice of generic human bodies, (different sexes in many positions) 2D Human Model (adjustable for diagramming) or the new 3D Human Model (adjustable for 3D diagrams, movies and analysis), that allows you to do bullet trajectory analysis on the model which extends on to your scene.
Virtual Scene
Simply place photos taken from the scene on your SmartRooms walls to create a Virtual Room, making complex and intricate evidence like blood stains, and other marks clearly distinguishable.
Diagramming in 3D
All Diagramming done SmartRooms/FX3 is done in a 2D environment, that results in the automatic creation of 3D objects that render into an accurate 3D environment.
Explore Buildings in 3D
SmartRooms Buildings are automatically created as 3D models from your diagram, with the ability to set transparency of walls for a better overview.
Preview the scene and familiarise yourself with it in a lifelike and accurate 3D Environment. Verification of crime scene data and witness statements is done quickly and can be done by anyone who can use a keyboard.
