Dennis O'Brien
Dennis O’Brien is a Sergeant with the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Department in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He serves as a Commander for the Traffic Homicide Investigation Team and the Patrol Division. Dennis has served 14 years of service as a Law Enforcement Officer and has investigated and reconstructed numerous motor vehicle collisions over his years in service.
Dennis also serves as a private sector consultant and has testified as an expert in court in the field of Traffic Crash Reconstruction. He uses his knowledge, training and experience to create Forensic 3D Animations of collisions to “paint the picture” for the jury in collision cases. He enjoys teaching and deciphering the “puzzle” that is motor vehicle crash reconstruction.
